This Privacy Policy enables you to understand how TickCatcher ("we", "us", "our") collects, processes, and protects your personal data when you use our API services, website, and related tools.

Data Minimization

We only collect what is strictly necessary to provide our services and ensure security.

Encryption

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3. Sensitive data at rest is AES-256 encrypted.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide better services to all our users. To ensure transparency, we categorize data collection into four distinct types:

  • Account InformationWhen you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and RapidAPI authentication tokens to secure your identity.
  • API Usage DataWe log every API request (IP address, User-Agent, endpoint accessed, latency) to prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and debug issues.
  • Payment InformationWe use RapidAPI for payments. We never store your full credit card number or CVC code on our servers.
  • Technical InformationDevice type, browser version, and operating system identifiers to optimize our dashboard experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly for operational and improvement purposes. We do not sell your data. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our API services.
  • Process your transactions and manage your subscription state.
  • Send you technical notices, API change logs, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud attempts.

3. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Note: API access logs are retained for a rolling window of 30 days for security auditing, after which they are permanently deleted.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"). These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection laws, including:

  • The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
